My name is Cessie and I have wanderlust. Among my many other desires to describe me, top of the list is my insatiable thirst for adventure and discovery. I tend to be very low-key and carefree but luxury is just fine, too. I like travelling comfortably or on a budget with a backpack just as long as I’m in the company of fun-loving people.
I would like to see all 7,107 islands of my beautiful country, the Philippines. And I would also like to see the world. To revisit the Angkor complex, see the summer in Somerset, vineyards in Tuscany, remnants of Roman architecture in Italy, great wall and terracotta army of China, Stonehenge in UK, and many more places that speak of history, art, recreation, and beauty.
I just got back into blogging after what seemed like a short and rather intermittent activity over at Mga Storya ni Kinagot (literally means Stories of the Youngest Child). I’m a trilingual whose native tongue is Hiligaynon, national language is Filipino (more commonly known as Tagalog), and ‘second national language’ is English. This time around, I am here to relearn to communicate, rediscovery self, and practice commitment and consistency.

Hey Cessie,
Missed your posts. Get those fingers on that keyboard again!
I have nominated you for the Readers Appreciation Award http://julzh.wordpress.com/2012/08/18/a-nomination/
Best,
julzH
thank you Jules for the nomination! i’m feeling like a moron right now for my inability to express my appreciation. i’ve been itching to write and now you’ve doubled my feelings of guilt over the long-overdue posts. still have the Lovely Blog post to do but i’ve been stuck dealing with the after-effects of typhoons and bad weather, graduate school requirements, limited internet connection, and a blossoming romantic life (hehe, i’m over sharing with that last part huh). and now, i’m devastated about the loss of DILG Sec. Jesse Robredo who was a fine example of dedication and true public service. thank, thank you for the nomination and for your wonderful feedback. i’ve been missing looking at your works and reading the posts of those i follow. i will definitely squeeze in time after Thursday’s class to post about nominations for Readers Appreciation Award and the One Lovely Blog Award.
again, maraming salamat to you and Olivia. keep safe everyone!
Hey, no worries! Being busy is good! Hopefully Manila and the country as a whole recovers quickly from all the flood/disasters/mishaps. Cheers!
